After poking my friends a few times, i think they just wanted me to be silent. If not i cannot think of another reason for which he might proudly claim this.
"Ya , I manjan. I am proud to be a manjan man".

Teenage Tribulations
This is a confession that I never made when I was studying in Loyang. It was a rather loborious day with teachers lamenting us for poor performances in exams. We all knew, if not before the papers, that we did not prepare as much as we should have but we did not require that much nagging by teachers. I have immense respect for teachers but when they think we cannot think for ourselves, maybe this applies for my class only, it might cause me to crack a fuse. My history teacher is one of my favourite teachers and i was aware of her intentions but sadly i was told on the wrong day.
After getting barraged by a few other teachers, she was next on the list. We understood the first time she told us but she just kept repeating that we should not rest on our laurels and should improve on our performance. Lets get to the point. She was speaking when i suddenly burst out and told her to shut up. Embarrased by it but it happened. Everyone gasped and turned, but worst was the look i was given by her. Stunned, shocked but worst was her disppointment. Something that always annoyed me in Loyang was what was expected of me as i accomplished more and more. But the thing is their desires of me may not be of what my potential presents but more of what they presume an ideal student must be but at times such expectationsay be beyond reach and tendency is they might be disappointed.

Diary Entry for 151008
10 months have passed. As I sit in the destitude of what has somewhat become my abode, I cannot help but ponderabout the mannerisms of people and the way they feel as though their authority grants wisdom, Just something that is wrong.
I have come across throngs of people. Some listen more than act.Others boast more than prove. I have seen the most selfish and the selfless. There are scores of people that do not mind using ur abilities but when it comes to entertainment and fun, you are suddenly absent from their list of contacts.
The experience teaches me about life as a whole. How it is great and on occasion sucks. Although I poke fun at some and call people names no harm is intended as I know they mean well , some are anyway. It takes something real serious to occur for their true colours to be observed. And at times u would rather not have any colour.
I have seen the nicest become the worst and the accomodating morph into the heck-care type.It changes you.
But probably one of themore annoying gestures I have come across would be that people who are supposed to be 'experts' in their fields of knowledge but what they truly know is miniscule to say the least.
I at times feel obliged to do more than my fairshare since I feel imight come out of it a better person. My predicament in reality would be alot better than for those who are lazy to perform their duties. My sympathies lie with their work ethics.

Giving and expecting nothing in return
This would indeed be the ideal mannerism with which one should offer help or give present or in any way shape, way or form assist. However sadly this is not really the reality of the matter. I would classify it into 3 fundamentals.
The first would constitute people who give and 'expect nothing in return'.Or so they want people to believe that. Trust me, if they do give something to u, in the not too distant future they would expect u to do the same. Basically they would be cunning and assure u they did something for u but if ever they require assistance would definitely remind u of the times they assisted u.
The second would do it basically to seem generous in the eyes of the public. It is normally unspoken. They would expect u to tell anyone that they did indeed help and so their stature in society would improve . I mean it is giving and that has its benefits but doing it properly would also be in order. There is also the type where they do good to have good karma. In my opinion that is not the essence of how it should be.
The last and the type which should be the way is the kind where they give selflessly. They would not consider anything except the reciepient's well being I should say. This is the kind we must be striving for .Giving because we want to help and because we care is worth giving if not dont bother. Trust me try giving more in the third type and the bliss u obtain is immense.
