Sometimes being softer is being louder

Many a times we come across the phrase, "actions speak louder than words".It evidently means than talk is cheap and we mean what we say best by doing rather than providing cheap talk. I came to the realisation that actually speaking the softest is the best. Allow me to elaborate.

They say that the tongue is the sharpest weapon we can ever have. It provides us with the ability to hurt some one withought even touching him by whacking the person's spirit. Not something we should be proud of. My point is what u say will still matters regardless of how loud we say it. Noticed that the most sarcastic and most hurtful comments are the one that are muttered rather than screamed. I have done several debates in my schooling years and my opposition speakers just love screaming out their points, which does not even make it right. Its just an antic to get the crowd aroused(so dont do it cause its a waste).

Also if u like act tough by throwing ur weight around and bullying people with their physique does not make them all the more right. I have had my share of arguments where I sometimes find myself guilty of beginning to shout louder and louder even though I know I am deviating from the issue at hand and am entirely wrong. So a piece of advice: Speak softly and be loud .It makes u look more cool, lowers ur chances of high blood pressure and u are still heard.

this i cannot deny...but sometimes the sad thing is that in debate, the louder team tends to win. well...life is never fair ;)
